I am finally heading my day here in O’Hara hotel after spending the morning with my crew in Washington D.C. My cupcake sitting beside be from Georgetown Cupcakes.

I’ve already mentioned in a previous post how I have had several weeks off from flying. Spending much of it traveling for myself and enjoying the time off. I can say that by the end of it i was looking forward to go back to work. I ending up staying home an extra week due to being sick.
This trip has gone seemingly and we even had a little 15 hours in Washington D.C so I could wake the crew up so we could go and explore the monuments down in the Mall.

We Started at the end with the Lincoln Memorial then moved our way over to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. After the Thomas Jefferson we made our way back along The Mall and walked along the park before getting on the Subway at L’Enfant to Foggy Bottom where we walked along M St in the Georgetown district. We splurged on lunch at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls. We also need to caffeinate fully before we started work so we went across the street to Bitty & Beau’s. Fully caffeinated we made our way up the street where we finished the mini sightseeing of D.C at Georgetown Cupcakes.

I am not really sure why I always have to stop here every time I am here but it’s a bit of an obsession and every time I see the D.C overnight I get just a bit excited thinking that I may have a chance to get cupcakes.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and Happy Monday.
I will now make my way to bed for the minimum rest we have tonight.
Happy exploring!
With love,
Jess
