You maybe wondering or Not… ‘What does a Flight Attendant do on her or his day off”?
Good question and you have come to the right place.

Not going to lie most of the time we are sleeping. All of the sleep. But like most nocturnal things we do need to climb out of our dens.
So with false spring here in my home base of Salt Lake City… I give you a Random day out in the middle of the week as a flight attendant without any other obligations in life.

A new coffee shop just opened up in my neighborhood so I obliviously needed to get caffeinated after I awoke from slumber at noon and walked myself over to Culture Coffee.
I got myself an Iced Cafe De Olla Latte – new favorite and meat pie. I also later got a side espresso with a sparkling water because why not.

I really just wanted to taste how their espresso was on its on and it was, perfect.
I then had all of the energy and needed to burn this all off and since the weather here in Utah is in False Spring I decided to go and grab the bike out for a little ride.

Originally I wasn’t going to ride for that long but ended up riding all the way up to Millcreek Canyon. I stopped and turned around at the parking lot of the Pipeline trail parking lot.
On my way back home I went down 9th and 9th and then stopped at Pie Flight. I got myself a Banana Nutella hand pie and it was delicious.

Then the rest of the way home I thought about what I wanted to eat for dinner. (That’s a lie…I was thinking about it on the way up to the canyon. I went back and forth between getting ramen or eating the soup i had at home).
I then got super excited because I had looked down at my watch and the clock said 6:15 and the light from the sun behind the mountains to the west was still burning and threw up my arm as Judd Nelson in A Breakfast Club.
My kitchenette has been a mess so that had to be cleaned up with dishes finished and put away and onto the can of minestrone. Lights dim freshly showered and there you have it my friends a random Wednesday of a flight attendant with nothing else going on but to ride a bike through Salt Lake City.

It was beautiful and also still cold. That ride back….I am grateful for hot showers.
With love,
