Another Flight Attendant Year Down

In September i made it to 6 years as a flight attendant with my airline. Which meant it was CQ season for myself.

Last week I flew out to Denver for CQ and my passengers and crew members get another year with me.

Yay! For them.

All depends on the day and morning whether or not they are saying that Yay enthusiastically or not.

Six years have flown by and at other times it felt like it had dragged on.

Sometimes I’m just not sure how to pose

I’ve been grateful that this year has allowed me to take a little extra time off to reset and to get to enjoy my flight benefits a bit more.

There has been a few changes that have accrued this year. Mainly that I now live in NC. I moved from SLC in August, I am currently still based in SLC and doing the long commute in each time I go to work.

When I tell you I am on a new level of exhaustion…

I’ve been lucky this year and so far that I have been able to drop my trips out of SLC and then pickup work trips out of base. It’s been a learning curve of which bases work and which ones won’t work and how much money I am willing to pay for a hotel.

Honestly, very little.

The airports I have been picking up out of have been based on their crew room availability for that little ‘nap time’.

We shall see how long this lasts with being able to pick up and drop and this whole commuting lifestyle.

Anyways, took a fun two day trip with my mom into Leavenworth, WA to celebrate and for us to have a bit of autumn in our lives.

With love,
